it’s my birthday.
it’s ALSO national donut day & dunkins is giving out free donuts.
do i take the free food? or do is stick to knowing that TONIGHT’s birthday dinner is my cheat night. & not ALL DAY LONG.

BIRTHDAY TOMORROW.
Nate & I went over to our pastor’s house for dinner and his wife made me cupcakes. With sprinkles =)
good thing I ran 4 miles today so I could eat one. and…. a half.
already terrified.
that my GOAL is to run a marathon within the next 3 years.
I know, thats a BIG time slot. but i think it’s realistic for me and my current running abilities.
anyways, so this morning i check my email and look what Activerunner.com sent me? a link to the 12 best marathons for beginners.

so short. :/ tried running backwards every few hundred feet. heard its good for different muscles. so! i gave it a try. i’ll run longer tomorrow. last day of may, gotta live it up.
the last .3 this other runner lady ran up next to me and asked how long i’ve been running, ect, and she said she’s been running for 30 years and goes 4-6 miles per run. which is AWESOME. I want to be like her.and obvi she was super in shape.
she’s my goal. GOAL PERSON.
i don’t know if it’s the hours of the Food network channel I watch…
or
the fact that in 3 months i’ll be a wife…
but I really want to learn how to cook BETTER!

lunch = all veggies + ALMOND BUTTER. Oh dear Lord how did I forget this was the yummiest food on earth?!
I need to learn how to cook more diverse meals. raw veggies won’t cut it for the fiance. for me though? perfect.
my aunt and uncle grow all their own foods. i wish i had the willpower/green thumb/gardening space to do that!
i mean, i should KNOW this.
but I got up. and I RAN. just like my planning list said I was going to do.
This is good, this list thing. I’ll keep it up. Hopefully.
I use to be such a good planner. I’ve forgotten how productive it made me. I used to plan my days hourly. And even write in what I was going to eat for each meal. And it worked. Why do I forget these things?
Lists. Coming back into my life.
Run: 4.78, 50 mins. hot and sweaty. walked a bit after to cool down. birds are chirping. cute.

OR if you’re making it for a whole bunch of people, we boil water in a pot, and then steep 6-8 green tea bags in it for 15 minutes, and then pour into pitcher filled with ice. and add honey! it’s fun to make it yourself. =) thanks for the Q!

Blessing: time to plan, doodle, make lists, do errands, get coffee at my favorite shop, run further
Curse: no scheduled meals, eat all the things, can be lazy all day and not run.
Tomorrow: up, run 5, post office, coffee shop, plan meals, of course do work, grocery store, do it up.
I need to plan my days better instead of doing whatever the heck I think feels good. I need to be purposeful in my time / planning. PURPOSEFUL.
